Better Late . . .
Sorry for the late post today but I did want to get my card posted since it took me ALL day to make! :) I used today's Card Sketch on SCS. If you look in the gallery you will see some absolutely beautiful cards and I thought it would be relatively easy, but that was not the case. I have to tell you that I had some "creative assistance" with this one. LOL! Thanks so much for you help Christie! (ok, another bad photo - the colors are River Rock, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou & Rose Red. I used shimmery white paper and colored with my prismacolor pencils.)
Ok, so this is a new, unreleased set by My Favorite Things called By the Seashore. Isn't it great!!! PLEASE NOTE: this set has not yet been released by MFT. But, if you are a subscriber to Paper Pretties you will receive this set in your October Card Package - how awesome is that?? New, unreleased stamp set! Love it!!
This set is so "Maine" - I just love the images of things by the ocean. It reminds me of the days when I first moved to Maine. I was single, had 2 dogs and lived about a 10 minute walk from the beach. In the evenings I would often take the dogs down to the beach for a walk - they loved it! Now I only live about 30 minutes from the beach but sometimes I miss not being so close.
