More Hot Stuff!

I finally had time to stamp today!! Although I must say it wasn't easy . . . I had the time, but I think my brain just wasn't working. It took me waaaaayyyyy too long to do these 2 cards. I think stamping and creating is like exercise, you need to do it every day! :) (I hate exercise by the way . . . avoid it at all costs!!).

Anyway, here is what I finally ended up with. The first one I did the I used the Cami Trifold card found on Beate's site. I think I'm going to end up using this card fold for my son's birth announcements - I just love it! I purchased these Paper Salon papers from Paper Pretties store before my May box was sent out (see post below). I simply love the colors in this paper!

The cardstock is Cool Caribbean, the ribbon is from Michaels. The scalloped frame came from Heidi at Sweet Somethings (I swapped some scallop punches for bella images). Here's a small shot of the inside of the card.

The next card I made using Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #4. Again, the papers are from Paper Salon - yummy! The card is 4 1/4 square and I used the Bazzill Cinnamon Stick cardstock that came in my Paper Pretties box. I did a little paper piecing for the woman's polka dotted dress. I modified the sketch slightly by putting my three elements inside the circle rather than on the far left (mainly because I couldn't come up with anything over there I liked!).

The bling is Swaroski crystals and I also used my Gelly Roll glittery pen for the coffee steam. The dotted ribbon is of course, May Arts from Jody at Confessions of a Ribbon Addict. However, I did just order a whole roll of this ribbon from Lyndsey at her Jacksonbelle Embellishments ebay store. She has some beautiful ribbons in her store and she's so nice to work with!!

Ok, baby's calling . . . have a great weekend!
