More Green Thumb
I had about 30 minutes last night to play a little more with my Green Thumb set from Papertrey Ink (isn't that a fun name!). I know you're probably thinking, "Again with the polka dots??" but it was such an obvious choice with the polka dotted boot and I like the cheery look!
My inspiration was a pair of rain boots that my children have, they aren't polka dotted by they are navy blue with yellow detail. Again, this is a pretty simple design, but it's fun and bright. I got all the way to the end and noticed that I had smudged blue ink on next to the boot, so . . . taking a page from Charmaine at Oodabug Alley (another great name!) I added a word window punch with a blue eyelet to cover the smudge. Thanks Charmaine, I really didn't want to trash it!
I just have to say again, how much I am enjoying these acrylic stamps. It was so easy to add the boot toe and handle, and get the sentiment straight being able to see through the stamps.
Gotta run, lots to do today but if I have time I want to try some more with this set. Hope you have a great weekend everyone!
Cardstock: Yoyo Yellow, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Stamps: Green Thumb (Papertrey Ink)
Inks: Night of Navy, Summer Sun, Basic Black

this is such a fun & unexpected color scheme! I really like the uniqueness of it! And I love how you covered up the smudge!
