Happy Monday to everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It's supposed to get very cold again here in Maine so we'll be staying in for a while. One of my priorities is to get my project samples for my Spring Stamp Camp all done. I have a plan, I just need to execute it!

So, today I'm posting a photo of a name sign I made for my son's room. Some of you may have seen this before at a workshop or at my house. I bought this frame on clearance at Kohls, it had art in the frame but that was fairly easy to remove and it gave me great inspiration for the final project (I wish I could show it to you, but I've looked and looked for it and cannot find it anywhere, I know it's here somewhere!). The drawing was of 3 peppers, green, red & yellow, which gave me my color scheme. And the background of the artwork was weathered wooden boards, which gave me my background design. I masked off lines for the boards and sponged them on with Creamy Caramel craft ink. Then I used the direct-to-paper method to make the "wood" marks on the boards.

I used the Monogram E and Headline Alphabet with craft inks (Ruby Red, More Mustard & Garden Green) . The wagon is from a set in last year's Spring mini and the puppy is, hmmmmm, I think it's from a very old set, I'll have to go dig it up! The picture goes perfectly with my son's farm quilt that my aunt made him . . . now I just need to hang it!!
Have a great Monday!
