The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek Week Day 1!

Good morning friends and fans of The Cat's Pajamas!!  I'm so excited because today begins our Sneaky Peek week for this fabulous May Release - you are going to LOVE this one!! I *think* I may say that every time but seriously, it just gets better and better!

A few details:  We will have sneak peeks for the next 7 days culminating (good word, huh?!) on Monday night, May 20th with a Release Party in the TCP Member Forum at SCS - 8 pm EDT!  There will be games, prizes, chatting, more peeks and lots of fun!

Since it's also TCP Tuesday my card today is doing double duty, it's a sneak peek and an entry for our CAS challenge.  Today we're introducing Life's a Beach featuring everybody's favorite long-eared friend!

This seriously makes me smile big-time!! As most of you know, I live in Maine and love the beach - it's a big part of why I moved here!! This cute little scene reminds me of our family vacations growing up - we came to Maine and basically parked on the beach for 2 weeks.  We had a big olive green (now you know when I grew up - lol!) umbrella with fringe and a floral pattern on the under side. Fun times!

I did some paper piecing of the sand and made some cool chevron waves but overall it's still a pretty simple design.  You can see in this photo that the umbrella was cut and popped up for some dimension.
