TCP New Release Blog Hop!
Good morning and welcome to The Cat's Pajamas After Party Blog Hop!! Last night was so much fun chatting with all you TCP fans out there - and I know there were some lurkers . . .come on out and play next time! ;)
You should have started on Alma's blog for the hop today so if you didn't - go back, I'll wait! But if you came from Kimberly's blog then you're in the right place and I'm the last stop on your hop!
My card today uses the newly released Traveling Man set. I loved the sentiment about road construction and it made me think of long lines of cars so that's what inspired my card. I stamped the image once and then masked off the luggage rack and stamped it again.
The sentiment was stamped on one of the new Luggage Tag CutUps in a chalkboard style. I used a craft knife and cut a little slit in the image panel so that I could stick the tag down in behind it, that way it didn't cover the image but it also can be pulled out and used as a bookmark or you could write a little message on the back.
Thanks for sticking with us on this hop! Hop over to The Cat's Pajamas website now and check out the new products available! I can't wait to see what you make with these new stamps - be sure to share with us in the Member Forum at SCS! Have a super swanky day!

So adorable. This card is awesome and the chalkboard tag is brilliant
ReplyDeleteI really like how you inserted the tag through the background. Love the two cars following along with the other. Great card Julie.
ReplyDeleteGreat interpretation of the sentiment Julie! Such a witty, uber cute card!
ReplyDeleteLinda
What a great idea! The lineup of cars is perfect with the sentiment.
ReplyDeletesuch a cute card, Julie! You made the 2 cards look so different, it hardly looks like the same stamp! :) Hope you have an awesome holiday weekend! *hugs*
