Good morning!! What a fabulous day don't you think!! I'm absolutely thrilled to be a Guest Designer for the January release at The Greeting Farm!! What a sweet treat this is since these images are just adorable!
These new stamps will all be available on January 1, 2013!! Be watching for them, and watching for the sneak peeks leading up to that day! If you visit The Greeting Farm Blog you can see all the details and even how you can WIN the sets being previewed! That's right, WIN - but you need to visit TGF Blog and check out the previews!
Today's set is called Sitting Wonderful. It's has a bunch of great coordinating images, including the big comfy chair so our lovely lady can pose for her portrait! That's the vision I had for this first card. I tried something new for me, coloring the image to be black and white - but I decided to add a pop of pink just to keep it from being boring!! teeeheeee!! :)
For this I also decided to keep the sentiment on the inside just to keep it as uncluttered as possible - my CAS ways coming through!
For the next one I went with color but still kept the same clean approach! Really, with these super stamps they carry the card and they have nice big areas to color!
I was thinking about New Year's Eve festivities when making this card, which is why she's all decked out in silver sparkles! She's ready for a big night on the town. That comfy chair is the perfect size for some paper piecing, oh I love paper piecing!
Now, hurry over and visit the rest of these girls for more previews. Then pop over to The Greeting Farm blog and see about winning! Finger's crossed! Thanks for visiting today!

ReplyDeleteHi Julie, Happy Holidays and day after Christmas. Congratulations on being a part of the Greeting Farm team! I just love their stamps and I can so see why they have asked you to be a part of their terrific crew. :O) I love both of your cards. I really love your black and white card with the pop of pink. She is beautifully colored and I love the papers that you have used with her. Really sleek and adorable all rolled into one fantastic card. I also have to agree with you on the whole paper piecing process. I love how you have used the technique to give her a wonderfully comfy looking chair to pose on before her big night out for New Years. This card is very festive and I love how you have your chair resting on the trim at the bottom. Great idea for it. I hope your Christmas was a wonderful one. I can not wait to see what you all having coming for us the rest of the week! It's a good thing I am on vacation until next Wednesday. I know were I am going to be for most of my week. lol...
