TCP Tuesday 229 - Pumpkin
Good morning! Continuing with our Fall theme, it's Pumpkin time!! Actually, it's TCP Tuesday and Susan's our Hostess with the Mostess this week which means, Stamp/Die challenge!! This week Susan's Partial to Penguins - this means use any stamp from The Cat's Pajamas that has everybody's favorite penguins. Combine the stamp with either the Big Ticket CutUps die or the Ribbon Slide CutUps die and you're golden!
My card uses Hello Pumpkin with our trio of preppy penguins! I got a little *fancy* and masked off the jack-o-lantern face on the pumpkin because I wanted to piece the pumpkin and make it a bit more Fall-ish than Halloween-ish. It was super easy to simply draw the lines back in - makes your stamp more versatile! :)
I used a bit of a different color combo too, but I'm really loving the orange-y/aqua color combo! As you can see, I chose to use the Ribbon Slide and I combined it with the Big Scallop CutUps die. The great thing about the Ribbon Slide die is that you can put it right up against another edge die and cut them both in one pass!
The sketch is based on this week's CAS Challenge over at SCS! Hop over to the TCP Forum or Alma's blog for all the info on the challenge - we'd love to have you join us this week!! Have a great day!
