Perfect Day!

Today is posting day for the Avocado Arts Pit Crew Too using the August set, Perfectly Perfect Day.  Today I wanted to give the balloon image a try (btw, have you seen the amazing Balloon Card Kit digital file on the Avocado Arts website?? It's definitely on my crafty "to do" list!).

I ended up paper piecing the balloon with paper from the Splash pad from Echo Park and popping up the basket with foam adhesive.  I love these warm sunny colors and wanted to add them in again so I used the rainbow border stamp from Borders and Sentiments set and stamped it using a gradient palette.

I stamped the clouds and then lightly colored them in with Copic markers and then added the sentiment with the little kite bow added onto the end.
