Birthday Tulips
Good afternoon friends! Sorry to be late today. Spring is coming - yea!! I don't know what it's like in your area, but here in New England we have had the oddest Winter. We've hardly had any snowstorms and the temps lately are more Spring-like than any February I remember! I keep waiting for the buds to appear which made me think of tulip.
But then, I have tulips - the Kitchen Sink Stamp variety! They are beautiful and can come in any color you imagine! Mine today are orange and I used last week's Sketch Challenge from SCS for my card.
I cannot wait to buy some tulips like this, love the orange-y colors. I used all 3 types of the small tulips in Multi-Step Tulip Garden. My color recipes are below.
Left to right:
Flower 1: Step 4 - Step 4 (Orange Zest) Papertrey Ink, Step 3 (Tangelo) Memento, Step 2 (Tangelo stamped off) Memento, Step 1 (Canteloupe with Tangelo around the edges, stamped off)
Flower 2: Step 4 (Tangelo) Memento, Step 3 (Cantaloupe) Memento, Step 2 - (Canteloupe stamped off), Step 1 (Canteloupe stamped off)
Flower 3: Step 4 (Orange Zest) Papertrey Ink, Step 3 (Tangelo) Memento, Step 2 (Tangelo stamped off) Memento, Step 1 (London Fog, stamped off 2x and only on the edges)
Make sure to visit the other KSS Crew members, I'm sure they have some beauties!! :) Have a wonderful day my friends!
