Support a Cause!
Good morning! There is so much going on isn't there?? This month is going to be busy! Let's get started off right away with World Card Making Day on Saturday - I wasn't actually able to stamp that day after all but I know many of you did and I'm on the look out to see what everyone made! I did stamp on Sunday night though which brings me to Hope You Can Cling To on Splitcoaststampers! This is a month long event (you can read all about it HERE). The list of sponsors is amazing - there are so many great prizes and best of all it's to benefit an amazing cause!
I'm happy to say that Kitchen Sink Stamps is one of those sponsors so I had to join in with the first 2 challenges! First up, Lydia's challenging us to use Pink Critters! I used Multi-Step Ducks and Pigs from Kitchen Sink Stamps to make this fun card using Connie's Friday Sketch from last week.
Seriously, isn't that pig so fun?!?! Here's a closer look too, as you can see I did some shadow stamping with the sentiment. The little pink ribbon is from the Ribbons With a Cause set, also KSS.
Next up, is Lori Craig's challenge, Bling Your Cling - totally up my alley! :) For this card, I used Ribbons With a Cause and Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 137.
The card measures 6" x 3.5" - such a fun shape! The dp is Echo Park's Country Drive and both it and the cool round bling are from i {heart} papers.
My ink recipes for both cards are:
(All Memento unless otherwise noted)
Pig: Step 4 - Lilac Posies, Step 3 - Rose Bud, Step 2 - Rose Bud (stamped off), Step 1 - Angel Pink
Ribbon: Step 3 - Rose Bud, Step 2 - Angel Pink (2x), Step 1 - Angel Pink
Thanks for visiting today! I hope you were inspired to play along with the challenges and perhaps cheer someone up today! :)
