Skipping Stones Design & Chance to WIN!

Good morning! Sad to say it's my last day as a guest designer for Skipping Stones Design! It's been so much fun working with their talented designers and with Lea's great sketches!

I even have a treat for one of you!! SSD sent me a Birthday Purses clear set to give away to one of my readers - very cool right?!  So, who wants it??  Ha ha, everyone!  Leave a comment on this post telling me what color your purse it (and if you really love it, tell me where I can get one!)!  That's it - I'll draw a winner on Friday night and post the winner Saturday.

Ok, today's sketch from Lea Lawson is another great one and I was excited to play with another set from Skipping Stones Design, Chick Chat.  I went bright and springy with this one, piecing each of the chicks with some bright dp.

I think those chicks are just so cute! I colored their beaks on a scrap of paper, cut them out and popped them up with foam adhesive.  I played the sketch pretty closely for this one.  This is going to my niece for her brirthday card! :)

Thanks again to Heather and the others at SSD for making me feel welcome!  Please visit the SSD blog for more information about today's crop! Have a nice day!

Cute card Julie! I am sure they are going to miss you as much as you will miss them :) My purse is kind of a mustard yellow and I do love it but have had it for a while now so don't know if you could find one - I think I even got it on clearance at Shopko here in Utah :)

Julie: The chicks are adorable! Thank you for sharing them. My purse is a black with silver trim Brighton bag that I bought in a consignment shop for $10.00! A steal, right?

Love the little chickies. My purse is brown by Levi and I love it, but it's getting old. My hubby bought me a super red one, but it's just not quite right, and it cost plenty. I keep my eyes peeled at every shop just in case I can find a replacement. Thanks for a chance.

What a cute card! My purse is brown, made by Fossil, can be purchased through Zappo's online, and I LOVE it!! Thanks for the chance. I have been looking at this set since it came out but haven't bought it yet!

Cute stamps! As always, your designs are SUPER cute!

My favorite purse is ORANGE. I get TONS of compliments on it everywhere I go. It was a gift from a certain Cole Haan employee we both know. I love it because it has lots of pockets and compartments to hold all of my Mom Stuff. BUT...the thing you need to get a hold of is an organizer that fits into most purses. It is called a Pouchee. I purchased it with some Christmas money. It was worth the investment. My purse has stayed organized and I have yet to lose my keys (nothing short of a miracle!).

Keep up the great work, Julie!

Super cute card!! I love those stamps too! My purse is brown with a band of different colors along the bottom. That way it will go with whatever I'm wearing! LOL Thanks for the chance to win!

My current purse is black - plain and simple for the winter but I am ready to get out of these doldrums and go for some springy color!

Are you kidding me to give my favorite pruse....????? I am the queen of pruses. I love them all and have many to play with. Since I was a wee girl I would take my grandmothers and moms to play with, being so grownup. To this day I cannot get enough of them.
