Look!
How did Tuesday slip away from me? It's busy everywhere isn't it? Well, I'm back today with a fun little birthday card for my daughter Anna who turns 7 on the 8th - she's so excited!!
Remember I told you how much I liked FTL118? Well, here's another card I used it for and I love that this one looks totally different - see how versatile sketches can be?! I used I've Got My Number from Mint Motif which as you know is available exclusively at i {heart} papers. This time I decided to stamp the large "7" and color it in using Copic markers. I used 4 colors (R20, R21, R22, R24) and gave it a gradient look.
The flower medallion in back of the sentiment was made using Nichole Heady's lazy medallion technique - love is! The tiny die-cut flower was cut out of a piece of cardstock that had been stamped with Very Square's polka dot square. The paper is from Cosmo Cricket, it's Fine and Dandy Tickled Pink and I was so excited to pick up the 6x6 pad from i {heart} papers!!
If you get a chance, check out the cool series Kimberly Crawford has started on her blog this week entitled "12 Trendy Days of Christmas!:
