"Invisible" Ring
This is my 2nd KSS post today, please scroll down for more of Multi-Step Invisible Snowman!!
Good afternoon! I'm back as promised with a fun little unexpected project. I told you earlier that there's a fun new set at Kitchen Sink Stamps today - Multi-Step Invisible Snowman, but I wanted to make sure you knew there are also some great new "invisible" products available for a limited time in the KSS Store. The Vinyl Bookmark Sleeves like the one I used HERE, are available in the store in a pack of 10 for only $3.50!! Amazing! There is also some fun clear packaging available, some awesome blank books and a fun little acrylic Bubble Ring.
I searched around a bit to see what I could do with this fun little bauble. Turns out you can reverse paint on the underside of them for a neat look, but I don't paint. Then I found these - totally fun right? And super easy to make! The hardest part was deciding what color to make. I pulled out my box of Swarovski crystals and settled on shades of blue which just seemed to "pop" on the clear ring! Basically, I just turned the flatback crystal over, added a small bit of Glossy Accents to the back and put it on the ring (a little tool like this made this much easier to set the crystals without getting glue all over the ring!).
As you can see, I used 3 different size jewels and 3 different colors. I love how it came out - won't it be such a fun piece to wear with jeans!?! I decided to package up my pretty bauble using one of the Clear Pillow Boxes that are also now in the KSS Store.
I stamped a little melted snowman and added a sentiment tag with some "bling" for a hint of what's inside! :) The "snow" is just some Stickles and Glossy Accents mixed for a slushy look.
I hope you give this a try - think of all the colors you could use . . .!! And what fun little gifts they'd make for all your girly girlfriends! :) Thanks for visiting today - hope you have a great Monday!
This is gorgeous Jules!!! So adorable! And what a cute new set, love your snowman bookmarks too!
