Prayers on the Way!

It's Monday already?  Boy that weekend goes by quickly!  But it is Monday and it's Kitchen Sink Stamps day - yea!  You still have time to make a card for this month's Crew Challenge seen HERE - there are prizes involved people!!

I decided to take a set that came out a couple of months ago (September I think), Multi-Step Ribbons with a Cause and show you what the causes are for this month.  In case you didn't know, every month KSS donates 15% of the proceeds from the sale of this set to charities designated here.  This month the 2 causes hightlighted are the Alzheimer's Association and Diabetes Research Institute.  What a great chance to contribute to some worthy causes!

So I made a card using purple for the ribbon which is the color of Alzhiemer's ribbon.  I used Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch (which I tweaked a bit to make it work for my card).  The ink recipe for my ribbon is listed below.

Please visit the rest of the KSS Crew today to see their wonderful creations!  Thanks for visiting today - I love guests! :)

Cardstock:  Papertrey Ink (Plum Pudding, Vintage Cream), tissue paper, Patterned Paper: Crate Paper, Stamps: Kitchen Sink Stamps (Multi-Step Ribbons with a Cause), Ink:  Step 3  Vintage Violet (SU!), Step 2: Sweet Plum (Memento), Step 1: Lulu Lavendar (Memento), Tuxedo Black, Accessories:  Spellbinders (Nestabilities), Kaiser (pearls), Papertrey Ink (Ribbon), My Favorite Things (Open Scallop die), Provo Craft (flower die), corner rounder punch
