Miss You
Happy Weekend! I first want to remind you that Kimberly Crawford is previewing her 2 new Mint Motif sets that will be released tomorrow, November 14th at i {heart} papers. The whole design team will be posting on release day so be sure to come back here for that! :)
I had a chance today to play with my new My Favorite Things stamps I just received in the mail. I have had my eye on the adorable new line of a la modes and finally broke down and bought this one, Miss You a Latte. So when I saw the Wednesday Stamp Club challenge this week was "Cooking Up Some Love" I thought this set would work - after all lattes are a beverage made in the kitchen, right? :)
I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #99 - love this one! I really need to start keeping track of some great sketches, I even have a sketch book - just need to use it! Anyway, I also had a brand new 6x6 Fine & Dandy Tickled Pink from My Mind's Eye paper pad from i {heart} papers (isn't that awesome that MME now comes in 6x6 pads?!)
I love this stamps - perfect for any coffee lover! :) I stamped her out and colored her with Copic markers. I added some lines to the coffee "wrappers" (oh what's the right word, can't think of it right now) using a colorless blender pen to make it look almost corrugated. I had a lot of fun making this card (although it did seem to take me forever with all the interruptions!!). Why not give the challenge a try?
Thanks for visiting - see you tomorrow!
