New Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge
I have 3 posts today: Tiffany's Doodles Sketch Challenge, New KSS Crew Challenge and Happy Birthday Jane! Thanks for putting up with me today! :)
I cannot believe it but it's June already which means we have a new Kitchen Sink Stamps Crew Challenge for you! This time Lynn has challenged us to dig into our ribbon stash, pull out one that inspires you and make a card with it! If you are anything like me, you have tons of pretty ribbons. I found this gorgeous wide piece of striped ribbon and that I love but have never used - until today!
I used Multi-Step Trees from Kitchen Sink Stamps to make a clean and simple Father's Day card. I think trees must be the perfect image for fathers - strong, reliable and sheltering! My ink recipe was:
Tree: Step 2 - Ripe Avocado (Papertrey Ink), Step 3 - Always Artichoke (SU!), Step 1 - Kiwi Kiss (SU!)
Trunk: Step 2 - Rich Cocoa (Memento), Step 3 - Soft Suede (SU!), Step 1 - Soft Suede (stamped off)
The sentiment, including the one on the inside, is from Whole Family, also Kitchen Sink Stamps. I love how you can mix and match so many of the great words included in this set to make the sentiment that fits your family!
You can view the rules for the challenge on the KSS Blog - including the deadline and where to leave your link! You could win some wonderful Kitchen Sink Stamps prizes but you have to play to win! :)
Now take a look at what the rest of the KSS Crew have for you today! Remember to use coupon code JULIE10KSS when ordering to save 10%! Have a great day!
Cardstock: Dark Chocolate, Ocean Tides, Vintage Cream (Papertrey Ink), Stamps; Multi-Step Trees, Whole Family (Kitchen Sink Stamps), Ink: Dark Chocolate, Ripe Avocado (Papertrey Ink), Soft Suede, Kiwi Kiss, Always Artichoke (SU!), Rich Cocoa (Memento), Accessories: Hardware (WRMK), Ribbon (SEI - I think), Woodgrain Texture plate (Papertrey Ink)
