Spring Tulips!

Happy Monday my friends!!  We've got a treat today.  You may have noticed last week that Tammy Hershberger is a special Guest Designer for Kitchen Sink Stamps all this month - it's great to have her in the Kitchen again!  Tammy is also a member of the Color Throwdown team.  This week it's her turn to throwdown the colors and Kitchen Sink Stamps is sponsoring the challenge!.  ColorThrowDown Challenge #83 officially opens this Wednesday, March 10th, and you'll also find out what the Color Challenge prize is . . .it will be something from Kitchen Sink Stamps so make sure to visit and enter the color challenge this Wednesday.

Ok, the colors are:  Melon Mambo, Marigold Morning, Bermuda Bay and Wild Wasabi.  I can't wait to see what everyone comes up!  I used Multi-Step Tulip Garden for my card today and was able to get all the colors in - yea! :)  The fun cloud paper from My Mind's Eye Love Me Do line was the perfect way to bring in the Bermuda Bay color. I also used 3 Step Honey Bunny for the grass under the tulips. Here is the recipe for my tulips:

Pink - Step 4 - Melon Mambo, Step 3 - Melon Mambo (stamped off), Step 2 - Melon Mambo (stamped off 2x)

Orange - Step 4 - Marigold Morning (2x), Step 3 - Marigold Morning, Step 2 - Canteloupe (Memento), Step 1 - Marigold Morning (stamped off)

I hope you get a chance to play along with the challenge this week.  It's always fun to try something new - I never would have put these colors together but it was sure a blast to give it a try!! And you know, I don't hate the results. LOL!  Check out what the rest of the KSS Crew made today, I know it will be amazing!
