KSS Crew Challenge #22
The 1st of the month means a new Kitchen Sink Stamps Crew Challenge. KS Crew Challenge #22 from Makiko is to make your own custom designer paper using your Kitchen Sink Stamps!! I cannot wait to see all the creative papers everyone comes up with! You have the whole month to make a card for a chance to win great KSS prizes. Go to the KSS Blog to see all the details and rules.
I used. . . wait for it . . . 3 Step Hearts for my paper! I really tried to go in another direction, I did really!! LOL! But I kept being pulled back to the hearts when my other ideas didn't translate well.
So I took the smallest solid heart in the set and made a gradient color paper, alternating the hearts each time. I used Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose, Rose Red and Purely Pomegranate all from SU! Then I took the next larger sized heart, stamped it in the 3 lighter inks and punched them out with a 1 1/4" punch. The 3 solid squares behind them are 1 1/2" and are adhered to one piece of paper to make it easier to handle.
The sentiment on the middle heart is from Simple Sentiments - one of the newest sets from KSS.
So now it's time to visit the rest of the KSS Crew for their fabulous inspiration and head to your stamp room! Oh and remember to comment HERE for one more chance at some fun goodies! Have a great day!
