Ever Grateful - KSS Monday
Wow it's been several days since I posted hasn't it? I've been home enjoying life with new baby and being back with my family. Baby Owen and I are doing just fine. He's gaining weigh and doing everything that he's supposed to at this point so that's great!
Well, since it's Monday that means another fabulous Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday! I'm looking forward to seeing what the other Crew members have today - be sure you check them out too!
My card today uses another one of the newest released stamp sets, Multi-Step Harvest. If you are a lover of all things Fall like me, you must have this set!! Every image is just the perfect epitome of Fallishness (I think I just made up that word - lol!). I love the very cool barrel that you can fill with several different things. I chose the mums today.
It took me a few tries to get the color scheme I wanted. I also didn't realize the first time I used it that for the mums, Steps 2 & 3 are the leaves - stamp them in green! Duh! :) But after I figured that out it was pretty simple, and think of all the pretty colored mums you could make! Here is what I used for colors:
Mums:
Step 1 - Dandelion (stamped off) - Memento
Step 2 - Ripe Avocado - PTI
Step 3 - New Leaf - Memento
Step 4 - Hibiscus - PTI
Step 5 - Rhubarb Stalk - Memento
Basket:
Sep 2 - Creamy Caramel - SU!
Step 3 - Rich Cocoa - Memento
Step 4 - Chocolate Chip - SU!
Hay:
Step 1 - Desert Sand - Memento
Step 2 - Desert Stand
Step 3 - Rich Cocoa - Memento
I also used a pumpkin from the Multi-Step Pumpkins set and popped it up with foam adhesive in front of the hay bale (don't you just love that hay bale?!!) Oh and how about the sentiment? This set, Multi-Step Harvest has a wonderful mixture of fonts and sentiments - the combinations are perfect!
I hope you have a wonderful Monday! If you haven't already, be sure to check out all the new KSS - there's something for everyone!!
Cardstock: Kraft (Papertrey Ink), White, Patterned Paper: Everday Dots (Papertrey Ink), Stamps: Multi-Step Harvest, Multi-Step Pumpkins (Kitchen Sink Stamps), Inks: see above, Accessories: Burlap, Ripe Avocado ribbon (Papertrey Ink), foam adhesive, Corner rounder punch
