Bold Swashy Leaves
Good morning and welcome to Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday! Is it too early to think Fall?? I know if you live in the Northeast you're thinking, "but we just got summer!!" and it's true! August is shaping up to be a pretty nice month so far. But you also know in the back of your mind that Fall is coming, school will be starting, the leaves will be changing and for me, the baby will be arriving in early October! :)
I took out Big Bold Swashes from Kitchen Sink Stamps and thought about all the different ways you could use this set - with butterflies, with flowers, with birds, all by itself, and a few others I might try soon! ;) But for today I paired it with 3 Step Autumn Squirrel. I stamped the largest swash first and then stamped and cut out the leaves to add using foam adhesive. I also did a bit of paper piercing to accent the swash a bit. I think this set can be tons of fun - I'm looking forward to trying some more ideas! Oh and the sentiment is from another new set called Words of Comfort & Joy - lots of pretty new sentiments!

I love what you have created here with the swashes!! The piercing is a fabulous touch!! And what could be more perfect with them than these gorgeous leaves? Outstanding work, Julie, in these rich luscious colors!
