July KSS RELEASE!!

Seems I've done it again . . . today is supposed to be KSS Crew Challenge day - this great sketch by Lisa Somerville! I forgot all about it so I'm headed back to my room to see what I can do. Ok, so for my cards today I used 2 of the new sets, Multi-Step Kittens & Pup and Multi-Step Ducks & Pigs. Aren't they adorable???!!! I just love these cute little baby animals!! I made a quick set of 3x3 cards (and hope to get a little box made up for them later today!). I never cease to be amazed at the wonderful detail you can achieve with these stamps - they look like photos!!

I started with the cute little ducks and pig - how sweet would these be for baby announcements or invitations?! All the dp used is from October Afternoon. After I cut 3x3 cards from white cardstock I used my Scor-Pal and scored a line 1/8" from each edge for some added detail. Images and dp were die cut with Nestabilties which makes it super easy! Here are the inks used for these 2 cards:

Pig: Step 1 - Pink Pirouette (stamped off), Step 2 - Pink Pirouette, Step 3 - Blush Blossom, Step 4 - Pretty in Pink, Step 5 - Regal Rose

Duck: Step 1 - Barely Banana (stamped off), Step 2 - Barely Banana, Step 3 - Cantelope, Step 4 - More Mustard

We recently adopted a new kitten from the shelter - his name is Oki and he is the CUTEST orange tiger kitty! I just love the color of his fur! He totally inspired my kitten card! :)

Kittens: Step 1 - Cantelope (stamped off), Step 2 - Cantelope, Step 3 - Apricot Appeal, Step 4 - More Mustard

Puppy: Step 1 - London Fog (stamped off), Step 2 - London Fog, Step 3 - Smokey Shadow (PTI), Step 4 - Tuxedo Black
