Prettie Wednesday with a "Hole In It"
Happy Christmas Eve my friends! Our Prettie Girl Challenge this week was from Jillian and it was to "Put a hole in it." We had to have a hole, at least 1/8" not filled in, on our card. Since it's Christmas Eve I thought I'd do one more Christmas card.
This card was hard to photograph because it wouldn't stay closed enough to get a good pic. The stamp is from The Nativity by Paper Pretties and I used some beautiful SEI paper for the front and added a little strip on the bottom of the inside as well. The light colored dp is actually shimmery too! I stamped the sentiment on the inside so that from the outside you only see the word "Jesus" and I used Gold EP for the sentiment. The picture was colored with Copics. Be sure to visit the other Prettie Girls to see what they made for the challenge!
Cardstock: White (Gina K), Patterned Paper: Alpine Frost (SEI), Stamps: The Nativity (Paper Pretties), Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Versamark, Accessories: Copic Markers, Nestabilities, Corner Rounder punch, Gold EP, Velvet Ribbon (Maya Road), Gold cord (SU- retired).
Mine is a pretty simple little card but I wanted to leave with a reminder of the true meaning of the season. May you experience peace and joy this Christmas as you celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Merry Christmas to you all!
