KSS Day!
Happy Monday! Lots to share . . . first, have you seen the Kitchen Sink News? We are welcoming 2 new Crew members, Angela Knopf and Lynn McAuley!! I've seen amazing work from both these ladies and am so thrilled to have them join us!! Welcome ladies!
Second, tomorrow is Release Day!! Have you been following Maria's sneak peeks and joining the fun for your chance to win? There will be 2 new holiday sets released and I'll have my peek for you in just a minute.
Third, from now on Mondays will be Kitchen Sink Day and the KS Design Crew will regularly be serving up their newest KSS creation to share with all of you.
Fourth, we are starting a KS Crew Challenge. The Crew challenges will be the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month and hosted by a different KS Crew member. We'd love for you to play along!! Players don’t have use KSS to participate in the Crew Challenges, but if they do enter a card or project using Kitchen Sink Stamps… they may also enter their creation in the “What’s Cook’n with Your Kitchen Sink Stamps“ contest too!!!! A great way for a chance to win free stamps and a spot to be a Guest KS Crew Challenge Hostess. The Guest Hostess will decide on the challenge for an upcoming KS Crew Challenge … and we (the KS Crew) all play along! It is your chance to be in the Kitchen Spotlight!!!
Fifth, starting this Nov. 5th, every Wed., from midnight to midnight, the Kitchen Sink Store will be serving up The KS Blue Plate Special. This is where you can find random items on sale for 24 hours only! You never know what might be on sale! No promotion code is needed.
Ok, here's my peek at one of the sets being released tomorrow . . . this is 3 Step Poinsettia!! I must say that I've been in a bit of a rut lately - I've been using a lot of Kraft paper, doing lots of scoring and paper piercing and am really liking white card bases! I think it was the week on the cruise! This card is similar was heavily influenced by several cards we made in class with Nichole. Obviously, I changed many elements but her designs spoke to me! :)
Aren't those poinsettia's beautiful?! I just love the soft pink ones and they worked wonderfully on kraft cardstock! Please be sure to check out what the other Crew members have in store!!
