Home Sweet Home

Thank you all so much for the sweet words of congrats and encouragement yesterday!! I know I've said it before but I so thankful for each of you and this warm and giving stamping community!!

I promised a project . . . I don't know why I never posted this but several weeks ago the Prettie Girls showered Jillian with a little housewarming box of goodies (she and her husband bought their first house this summer). We all used the same paper, Crate Paper's Seaweed collection so that they all coordinated and went with the colors in her new house. (You can see the entire collection of gifts here).

I used the adorable Happy Home shape from Say It With Letters' Etsy Shop and had so much fun with it! It was fun to root through my stash and find little bits of pieces collected here and there that I could add to the house. The chipboard letters are Basic Grey that I won in blog candy last year from, I think, Bethany Paull! A bunch of the embellishments (tag, chipboard buttons & sun, ribbon, glitter heart) were things I got in various classes at CHA last winter! The little key charm and flower were a little gift when I ordered some earrings on Etsy earlier in the year - perfect!!

I think this little house is the perfect gift for a housewarming! After I took the pictures I wrote the date of Jillian's closing on the tag so they can always remember that day! Don't be afraid to try these fabulous shapes out - they are super easy and once you get started you won't want to stop!! :) Have a great day friends!
