Some MFT Love

It's been forever since I've played with my beautiful My Favorite Things stamps! They are just all so fun!! I'm going to try to sneak over to my table tonight and play with the Oldies Plus Goodies challenge my pal Joanne and Amber host on the MFT SCS Forum each Friday! I have many "oldies" that are screaming to played with! :)

But for tonight I had a chance to play with Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #35 and it was a great chance to break out my brand new MFT set We're Not Scared! (sorry I am not finding it on the MFT sight - perhaps it is on backorder right now?). Some fun MFT Just Delightful paper also jumped into my cart so I used them too!

I just love the orange & purple color scheme and honestly everything for this card just came together quite easily! I know there's a lot going on here but I think it works?! Once I stamped and colored my scarecrow I cut him out and taped him on a Copic colored popsicle stick. Then I added Dimensionals to the rest of him and layered him over the 4 squares. Then I stamped the owls again and popped them up on Dimensionals.

As I thought about how to hide the end of the popsicle stick I remember this Doodlebug Paper Frills pack I had with the grass ribbon - even the color was perfect! Love it when that happens!!

The last thing I did was add some Crystal Effects to the owls' eyes and the scarecrow's eyes. My sentiment had to be moved but I used my Kitchen Sink Stamps Mix It Up alphabet set to spell out "boo!" which seems appropriate! :)

Thanks for visiting!! I don't say this enough but I appreciate each and everyone so much!!
