Sea Shell Blessings
It felt so good to create after almost a week off!! I have wanted to use my 3 Step Sea Shells set from Kitchen Sink Stamps for so long, it's so pretty!! Living in Maine I of course see lots of seashells so When Maria told me she had a seashell set coming I just knew it would be beautiful!!
This is the largest shell in the set - a conk shell. I made the card fairly simple so that the shell would be prominent and take most of your attention. Here is how I layered my inks:
Step 1 - Platinum Planet Brilliance. Then I cleaned the stamp added some Soft Sky ink using the Rock & Roll technique and re-stamped layer 1
Step 2 - Pixie Pink
Step 3 - Sweet Blush
Step 4 - Desert Sand
Step 5 - Beige Brilliance
There are lots of exciting things coming up for KSS! The 1 year Anniversary is in September and Maria has some wonderful surprises in store - stay tuned to her blog for more information!
I'll have another shell card for you tomorrow - my last post as the Page Plans Guest Designer. While it's always sad to see something come to an end (I had such a great time with Page Plans!!), I am exciting about my time next month with Say It With Letters!! Deb sent out the DT projects and I'm working on mine this week!
Have a great Saturday!!
