Handsome Wednesday!

Hello again! I found the flash card for my camera - yea! Just in time . . . now I can show you my card for our Prettie Girl challenge. Two weeks ago Danielle challenged us to make a masculine card - what a challenge!! I'm not sure how this card will be received, but I made it with my hubby in mind and I know he would like it - lol! :)

My husband is a hunter - an avid hunter! When I saw this Scenic Route paper I knew I had to use it here, come on, camo??! Perfect! So I used Look Who's Perky and stamped a camo mug and used one of the great sentiments in the set. I didn't want to add too many elements to the card (like ribbon) to keep with the masculine theme (and because my hubby likes "plain" cards - lol!). The striped paper was used where I probably would have otherwise used ribbon. I did add a couple copper brads at the bottom for some interest.

Be sure to check out the Prettie Girls' blogs to see what they came up with! Last week Christie challenged us to make a card using acetate - I still need to do that card! This week it's my turn, so . . . I want you to Be Inspired! Link us to a website or blog that you love or find inspiring and then make a card using something there as inspiration. It can be a line of clothes you love, a home decor site, photographs, art work, whatever, just Be Inspired! :) We will post our cards for this challenge in 2 weeks! Have a great day everyone!!

Cardstock: Bazzill, Scenic Route (Grafton collection), Stamps: Look Who's Perky, Inks: Burnt Umber Palette, Accessories: Copper brads, dimensionals, Nestabilities, Prismacolor pencils, Spica pen

Here are a few quick pics of Aaron's birthday bash this weekend - he had such a good time!
