My New KSS Stamps

Good morning!! I finally got a chance to play with my new Kitchen Sink Stamps! I was going to add a picture here of me with Maria and fellow Crew member Sarah Moore, but the one picture I got is not very flattering - lol! But it was so nice to meet them in person (along with the very sweet Melissa Norris from Craft Critique)! Thanks for a yummy supper Maria!! :)

This set is 3 Step Hearts & Roses and it's so pretty!! The hearts are actually 4 steps so you get amazing detail! There are 3 different sized roses in the set, some leaves and lots of pretty sentiments! My card was totally inspired by the new Thankful line by Melissa Frances Heart & Home. The colors are so soft and pretty that I wanted to try some roses with the paler colors.

I played around a bit with the colors try to make a rose that was sort of off white with pale pink edges, you know which ones I mean? Not perfect, but I still love the result! The ribbon and button are from a class kit that I took by Melissa Frances.

Cardstock: Georgia Pacific White, Sage Shadow, Pink Card from Say It With Letters, Stamps: 3 Step Hearts & Roses, Inks: Very Vanilla Craft, Pixie Dust, Pink Petunia, Aloe Vera, Oasis Green (VersaMagic Dewdrops), Basic Black, Accessories: Ribbon & Button (Melissa Frances), Nestabilities, Scoring done with Fiskars Paper trimmer

I'll leave you with a few more pictures from CHA. There were so many amazing displays and these 2 were from the K & Company booth - very pretty samples!! I took a class offered by K & Company on Monday which was awesome! We made a really neat album with one of those plastic office envelopes. Once I finish adding my embelishments I'll take a picture and show you - it was a very well done class!

Finally, here's another pic of the Prettie Girls with Tim Holtz! He was so nice to pose for lots of pictures with his "fans!" The booth had tons of beautiful samples with his new Grungeboard.

Did you all see the new Look Who's Perky set from Paper Pretties? I'll be back later this afternoon with another card made with this fun new set. Until then, have a great day!
