Hannah's Birthday
This is the card I promised a couple of days ago. Emma went to a friend's birthday party last week and needed a card. I used Julee's sketch for week 1 of Beach Blogger Bingo. The card uses my Little Lady set from Papertrey Ink and my Versa Dew Drop chalk inks (I think the colors are Key Lime, Thatched Straw and Pretty Petunia. The flowers are Primas and the ribbon is May Arts. I love how bright and colorful this card is. The cardstock is Orchid Opulence & Barely Banana.
I haven't been blogging much lately, my DH had a little accident helping his father on Saturday and ended up in the ER. He crushed 2 of his fingers (on his right hand - dominant hand of course!). We spent most of yesterday running around getting x-rays and seeing a specialist. Thankfully, he will not lose any fingers. He has to go back on Friday to see if they want to put a pin in the index finger but we're praying not! We are praising God that he was not hurt worse - he believes the leather gloves his father gave him to wear saved his fingers!
We will be on vacation the rest of the week so I probably will not be posting, but have a Happy 4th everyone!!
Darling card - love the colors!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the accident...praise God for watching over his hand! Will pray for a quick recovery and no complications!
