As promised . . .
They came - my bellas arrived and here's your first look at these fun-loving, flirty, funky sistahs. Check out Stamping Bella! I promise you will love these quirky girls. There is one for everyone and the creator, Emily is constantly coming up with new ones (now there are other stamps then just the bellas, but this is in my opinion her best line!).
So for my first bella card, I wanted to give yesterday's Ways to Use It challenge a try. The challenge was to use the color Glorious Green in some way. When I looked at Emmybella I knew she had to have funky pants so I stamped her on one of the designer papers from SU's Dots & Dashes and cut them out. Viola - shwanky (sp??)pants. I added a glittery green top, some golden hair and a Tiffany-inspired bag. I used a piece of my precious Hodgepodge Hardware for the belt detail and stamped "Retail Therapy" (another one of Stamping Bella stamps) with Heat & Stick powder and Green glitter. The cardstock is Cool Caribbean with a layer of Tempting Turquoise. Don't you just love her?? Who couldn't use a little "retail therapy" even if it's just a great new book and a cup of coffee, or a great new stamp! Watch for more of these in the future - I'm hooked!
Now, not to neglect my beloved SU!, I received the brand new Spring mini catalog in the mail today and you are going to love it!!! Great new designer papers - which you know I love, and stamp sets that are so fun and spring-y! I am working on putting together a Spring Stamp camp - hopefully in March so save some dates for me and I'll let you know soon. There's great projects a-brewing!
Final note, what questions do you have about stamping? I'd like this site to not only inspire but help you. If you have any techniques you are wondering about or products, or question, please leave a comment and let me know. I'd love to answer any questions and get you trying new things! Have a great weekend and thanks again for checking in!
Love your bella and love those swinging pants...great work with the ickiest of greens!
