TCC #21 and a Party!

Hello Friends! We had fun morning taking the children to a pond a few minutes from our house - it was wonderful!! I bought a season pass and I'm sure we'll be hanging out there a lot this summer! I don't know why we had never been there before because it's only 5-10 minutes away and it's perfect for the children.

Ok, I wanted to quickly show you a card I made early this week for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #21 - I got my submission in late but it was a really neat sketch and I had fun making a card that was a bit different for me.

This card is for a friend of ours who happens to love trees!! Their business is trees and you can just tell it's the perfect business for them! I've had this American Crafts paper for while and it just seemed perfrect for the fun feel of the Papertrey Ink Father Know's Best tree. The buttons are again from my button tin - I love how perfectly that blue one matched!

In other news . . . Paper Pretties is having a release on July 1st - and of course that means Stamping in Your Jammies!! Come join us Tuesday, July 1st at 8pm EST in the Paper Pretties Forum (remember to register or login!) for a fun night of stamping, chatting and of course new stamps!!
