TCP Tuesday is BACK!

Hello!  Exciting News - TCP Tuesday is back . . .with a slight change!  You can read all the details about the new format HERE. Basically, the challenge is now a monthly challenge, you have longer to enter, you can enter as many time as you like, you need to use TCP stamps and/or dies to be eligible and at the end of the month the Swanky Stamper will be chosen from all the entries (of course winning some fabulous perks).  Sounds like fun right?!  I think having a longer challenge period will give you no excuse to get inky and play along!

Alma will be hosting the challenges and the first one is up and posted on Alma's blog (where you will need to leave your entries using the InLinkz button).  You can also find it in The Cat's Pajamas Member Forum at Splitcoaststampers.  Today's challenge is Everything Old is New Again!  We're to pull out our TCP stamps and dies and use them in a new and interesting way.  Maybe it's a stamp you've never used before, or maybe it's a scrapbook page or 3d item rather than a card.  Here's my project:

I used the Man CutUps die and coordinating set Homemade For the Holidays and used it to make a Valentine and Valentine holder!  I started by making my lovey gingy - I used the die to cut him out of cork.  I then decorated him, adding some Glossy Accents to his heart, backed him with a Heart Rosette CutUps diecut and adhered it to a clothespin which I colored red.

Who says Gingerbread is just for Christmas?!  Next I made up a little Valentine Postcard/Tag which is held by the clothespin.  I used Love Letters to make the "subway" art block on the left - something I definitely hadn't thought of with this set before!  The hearts on the right are die cut using the Heart Trio CutUps die.
