Avocado Arts Style

** I have 2 posts today, please scroll down for my KSS Monday post! **

Today the Pit Crew Too is sharing more creations with the October set, Gobble Wobble.  I wanted to make a pretty Thanksgiving card using the wheat image.  I found that if I bend it just a bit on my clear block (don't you love how versatile clear stamps are??!) I could make a lovely Fall wreath!

I added a few popped up acorns from the set and then some tiny hearts from Avocado Type.  The only thing needed was a sweet little gingham bow and a few pretty pearls added to the swirls.  I kept the rest of the card pretty simple, just adding a tag for the sentiment.

You may notice that the sentiment tag is a bit longer than the actual stamp.  I simply used a little trick I talked about in this post - I inked up most of the stamp - about the first 3/4 of the stamp- and stamped it.  Then I cleaned the stamp and inked up the other side the same way - about 3/4 of it and stamped it matching up the lines. Now your tag is long enough for "Happy Thanksgiving!"

Thanks for coming by today! I hope you with check out the AA blog along with these other members of the Pit Crew for more inspiring work with this month's set!
