Let's Pear Up!

Happy Monday my friends!  It's an exciting week at our house as we finish up our school year - YEA!  Although we always do miss it in a small way.  We will continue reading with some good books throughout the summer but the "required" stuff will be done! ;)

The Sketch Challenge over at SCS was calling my name this week (actually I still want to try last week's!) so I pulled out the new Multi-Step Pears set from Kitchen Sink Stamps and got to work.

Since I was in a bit of a hurry I just popped over to the Kitchen Sink Stamps Forum and checked out Maria's wonderful ink recipe for Multi-Step Pear - who knew there could be so many color combinations!  I went with:

Half Pear: (all Memento inks)
Step 3 - (Bamboo Leaves), Step 2 - (Pear Tart), Step 1 - (Dandelion, stamped off), Step 5 - (Rich Cocoa), Step 4 - (Bamboo Leaves


Whole Pear: (all Memento inks)
Step 4 - (Bamboo Leaves, Step 3 - (Bamboo Leaves, stamped off, repeat), Step 2 - (Pear Tart), Step 1 - (New Sprout), Step 5 - (Bamboo Leaves), Step 6 - (Rich Cocoa)
