Lucky Day!

Good morning!   It's the first day of school here at our house today!! We're starting out a bit later this year but we're all excited about a fresh, new year of learning!  I'm excited to get back to a regular schedule (although I really could use a few more weeks of summer!!) :) We've had such a busy summer and I feel like I haven't been posting as much - hopefully that will change!  Since it's also Monday that means it's time for Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday!

I recently traveled to far Northern Maine (like Canada was just on the other side of the St. John River!) for my mother-in-law's family reunion.  It was such a neat opportunity to see a part of Maine I had never seen and meet a lot of my husband's relatives.  It was the O'Leary family reunion - they're just a wee bit Irish :) - which put me in an Irish mood.  Kitchen Sink Stamps had the perfect sets for me!  Multi-Step Shamrocks & Clovers and Multi-Step Lucky Horseshoes worked so well for this quick little card!

With just a bit of masking it was easy to layer up the shamrocks and horseshoe!  The Ready 4 Any Holiday set gave me the sentiment which would work for any day of the year, not just St. Patty's Day!

Just a reminder that when you shop at KSS, use coupon code JULIE10KSS to receive 10% off your purchase!  Be sure to visit the rest of the KSS Crew today!  Happy Monday!

  2. What a cool card! I like how you masked the shamrocks and horseshoe! You have a LOT more patience than me! I am not a great masker!

Isn't it interesting how one can live in a state for most of one's life and still not have traveled to every part of it?! Sounds like you had a great time w/ your in-law's family!
