As I was going through my desk looking for some a particular fabric, I came across an old pair of my girls' jeans which I had already cut up. Isn't denim great? You can use it and use it and use it again!! :) I pulled out my Pennant Cut-Ups dies from The Cat's Pajamas and made this scrappy, shabby birthday card for a friend. Not much stamping here but that's ok too.
I used the Big Scallop Cut-Ups die for the top of the Pennant and of course the Easy Rosette for the center. The sentiment is from A Girl and Her Cake. Here's a close-up,
The denim adds a bit of whimsy I think. Of course with fabric I felt the need to pull out my sewing machine and add some stitching.
Now it's your turn! I can't wait to see what creative uses you have for fabric! Be sure to add your picture to the slideshow on Alma's blog and then on Splitcoaststampers using keyword TCPTUES162. You'll be in the running for the Swanky Stamper title and the $10 Cat Cash weekly prize! Go forth and stamp!
