Sunshine

Here's another little card I didn't have time to blog last week. I made this for the Fun with Floss Challenge over on the Moxie Fab World blog. There were some amazing entries and the winners - wow!! I'm always floored by how creative people are!

I just adore this dp from October Afternoon, the line is called Ducks in a Row - cute!  And how fabulous that they have matching stamps?!  Those duckies are the cutest!   For my stitched element I simply stamped the sun/cloud image in very light gray. I then punched holes around the entire image using my paper piercer and then stitched the image with a running stitch.  For the sunrays, I used a satin stitch.  

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and of course I had to add a bit of bling to spice it up!
