Return of Prettie Wednesday!

We're back with our challenge results from 2 weeks ago. If you remember, Christie issued a color challenge, light yellow, light blue and apricot. Did any of you give it a try? I'd love to see! For my card I used some left over Baby Bee Crate Paper paper that was perfect for these papers.

I'm sorry to say Joanne that this card is just leaving here today . . but at least your close and should get it soon! :) I used our cute little Cuddle Me Sophia to make a birthday card perfect for any little girl. I should note that this layout is borrowed from a past SCS sketch challenge - I love it! It's versatile and easy - perfect for me these days!
Cardstock: Bazzill (not sure of color), WW, Crate Paper Baby Bee collection Stamps: Cuddle Me (Paper Pretties), Eat Cake (Papertrey Ink), Inks: India Ink Black, Accessories: Dimensionals, Prima, Bella Baubles, Baby Bee ribbon, Fun Flock, Prismacolor Pencils

Finally, I wanted to post another card with one of the newest Paper Pretties stamps, this is Wade E. Bug - isn't he just the cutest ladybug you've ever seen!?!?! I absolutely love him with his cute little "cape" and top hat and cane! I made this card for the SCS Featured Stamper on Sunday, StampingPam has a very pretty gallery with lots of great inspiration. Here's the card I case'd - I can tell that I'll be using this layout again too! :) I paper pieced his vest and bowtie (which I only attached in the center and curled up a bit to make it pop out. His spots I colored with my Spica clear glitter pen so he looks nice and sparkley!

Cardstock: Taken with Teal, WW, Old Olive, Petals & Paisleys DP, Stamps: Wade E. Bug, Ink: India Ink Black, Accessories: Watercolor Wonder crayons, Aquapainters, dimensionals, grosgrain ribbon, Corner Rounder punch, circle punches, scalloped circle punch, white gel pen, spica clear glitter pen

Be sure to check out all the other Prettie Girls' blogs for their challenge cards. Remember last weeks' challenge was to make a Valentine for your stamping (or non-stamping) sister! Have fun making a cute Valentine for a friend. This week's challenge will be issued by Joanne so check for that today! Have a great day!

Swirly Hearts

Good morning! What a fun night last night at the Paper Pretties release party! Did you see the 3 new stamp sets?? Isn't that Wade E. Bug the cutest thing every?! I shared a card at the party last night that I'll post tomorrow but I have another card today using my new Kitchen Sink Stamps!

When I saw Jen's Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) this week I knew I had to try it and I sort of designed this card around the ribbon. I got this great American Crafts ribbon from the Paper Pretties Boutique around Christmas but thought it would work for Valentine's Day too since it's red and white.

So to get a heart that would "match" the ribbon I first stamped the solid heart from Love & Luck with Red Magic Dewdrop ink. I heat set it and then used one of the swirl background stamps from Backgrounds & Borders with Cloud White Dewdrop ink to stamp the swirl on the heart (I first made a reverse mask so that the swirls would stay on only the heart). Then I quickly embossed it with white detail embossing powder to keep it nice and white. I LOVE how the heart looks! I used one of the small hearts to stamp on either side. In the end I decided to cut out the large heart and put it on with a dimensional - just to highlight it a bit. To finish, I stamped "loves me" from the same Love & Lucky set under the dp panel in red to keep with the color scheme.

The red heart brads are some I received in an awesome packet of goodies from Deb at Say It With Letters! Over the holidays I won one of her blog candy give aways - this amazingly beautiful Christmas ornament she made!! I love how sparkly and pretty it is - look at the beads on the wire at the top! So pretty. Along with the ornament Deb sent this great Valentine's Day packet! It has cardstock, envelopes, dp, matching stickers, ribbons, lace and all kinds of embellies to make some great Valentine's! I believe she sells these kits in her Etsy store along with her wonderful cut out shapes & letters (if you haven't checked them out - they are so great!!! Lots of shapes, fonts, sizes etc., all ready for you to alter! Oh and check out Colleen's blog - she's giving away an X and O to alter (here) and is also doing an online class (here) using Deb's letters.) Thank you so much Deb - it made my day to get such a nice package!! And the brads were perfect for this card! :)

Please check out all the KSS Crew members' blogs (listed on the left) - they have made some great projects with the new sets - the 4 step Hearts & Roses set is amazing!!! The roses are so realistic and so pretty! Have a wonderful day!
Cardstock: Shimmery White, Real Red, Memory Box DP, Stamps: Love & Lucky, Backgrounds & Borders, Inks: Red Magic, Cloud White, Accessories: American Crafts Ribbon, Detail White EP, Dimensionals, red heart brads

Release Day!

It's finally here! Tonight Paper Pretties releases 3 new stamp sets. Be sure to check out the other Prettie Girls' blogs (listed on the left) to see peeks of the other sets being released! But here, finally, is my full card. I used the largest of the sets, Sealed with a Kiss. This set is so cute for Valentine's Day, Anniversaries, Weddings, Engagements, etc.

Aren't they too cute?!! Their names are Luke & Lexi (what do you think of that Dara??!!). I had so much fun paper piecing her skirt and his jacket and tie! They are such a fun couple and the set has lot of different items you can stamp in their hands.

I'll be back tonight at 9pm EST with a second card using another of the stamps which will be released this evening! Don't forget, that there is also a blog candy contest going on. To enter, go shop around at the Paper Pretties Boutique and send your top favorite three items to paperprettiesprizes@yahoo.com. The winner will receive a 40% off coupon for one item this evening!

Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Shimmery White, Certainly Celery, (DP is SU! retired) Stamps: Sealed With a Kiss, Inks: India Ink Black, Accessories: Liquid Pearls, Build a Brad, circle punches, antique brass brads, ticket corner punch, Prismacolor pencils & OMS

Last Peek & a Card

Today is the last day for a peek at the new Paper Pretties release. Have you checked out the other Prettie Girls' blogs for their peeks? I have been showing you pieces of the same card, but I think some of the girls have shown pieces of different cards. This card was so much fun to make and on Monday I'll show you the whole card so be sure to check back!

Don't forget, that there's a quick and easy way for you to get a chance at a 40% off coupon for Paper Pretties Boutique! All you have to do is go browse the store and send a list of your three favorite items to paperprettiesprizes@yahoo.com. One of you will win a coupon code for 40% off one item on Monday night!

Here is a card I made with the first Paper Pretties set Snowflake Kisses. I love Sophia making a snowangel! She's so much fun to color with her striped tights and polkadotted boots! I colored her mostly with Copic markers (her skirt is done with Prismacolor pencils because I didn't have the right color!). I don't have a ton of colors yet but I have been having fun experimenting with them. If you are part of the Paper Pretties' Copic Club, the new Copic tutorial was posted this week and Joanne gave us some great tips!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Cardstock: Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, WW, Pearalicious (Cloud 9) Stamps: Snowflake Kisses, Ink: India Ink Black, Accessories: Karen Foster Charm, Dimensionals, May Arts Ribbon, Circle punches, Copic markers, Dazzling Diamond glitter

Sneak Peek Day 2

Good morning!! Are you ready for another sneak peek?? Remember, Paper Pretties is releasing 3 new sets on Monday the 28th in their Forum at 9 pm EST (remember to register first!). Come have fun with us, you'll get to see the new sets first and maybe win a prize. My peek is from the largest of the 3 sets and it's so great! There are 7 sentiments in the set and don't you love the font?!! I just love working with clear acrylic stamps because you can place the sentiment where you want it. For instance, in my peek, I changed this one line sentiment to a 2 line sentiment since I didn't have enough room for it all on one line.

Speaking of prizes, check out the Paper Clip for the details on how you can be the first ever Cutie Pie and win all 3 sets in this release! and . . . We're also giving away some Prettie Candy! To enter this contest, go look around the Paper Pretties Boutique and send your three favorite items to this email address paperprettiesprizes@yahoo.com. One lucky winner will be chosen at random and will receive a gift certificate for 40% off one regularly priced item!
Be sure to check out the other Prettie Girls blogs (listed over there on the left) for more "sneakie peekies" (as Joanne would say!). :) I've seen some of their cards and they are so amazing!
ETA: Be sure to check out the brand new American Crafts ribbon that was added to the Prettie Boutique - it's sooooo prettie and soooo affordable! :)
Finally - Prettie Wednesday a day late . . . next week we will be sharing our cards from last week's color challenge. But this week's challenge is to create a Valentine's Day card to send to your girlfriends, real or "virtual"! We all have so many friends in our lives that could use the pick-me-up of a hand-stamped card - so make a pretty, girlie card and mail it to a friend - we'll show you ours in 2 weeks!

A Card and Happy (e)Mail!

Good afternoon!! I made a quick card this morning that I want to share with you. As I said a few days ago I received my new Kitchen Sink Stamps. I have such a great project in the works for you all . . . a tutorial and maybe even a treat . . . but that's all a few days away so until then I decided to give yesterday's SCS Color Challenge a try! The colors to use were Soft Sky, Blue Bayou and Real Red.

I've told you all before I am a slow stamper but I has able to get this card made up in about 30 minutes which must be some kind of record for me - LOL! Anyway, I used Love & Lucky for the background heart - there are 3 sizes of hearts in the set as well as lots of overlays for the 2 step effect (I didn't use any patterns for this card). The center image is done with my Nestabilities (I used rectangles because I don't have the squares yet, and double cut them to make them square). The stamp in the center is a little thank you stamp that Maria includes with new KSS orders - I believe there is a different stamp each quarter. This stamp was sent to people who pre-ordered the new sets (and I, of course not able to limit myself to my one dt set, pre-ordered a couple more). Just a nice little perk of ordering your Kitchen Sink Stamps, isn't Maria sweet?!

Ok, so now for my news . . . I was delighted (understatement) to receive an email last night that one of my KSS cards was accepted for publication in their special issue Holiday Cards & More due out this fall!!! I know several other people who had projects accepted so it will tons of fun to have my card included with so many of my "virtual" friends!! Thanks for letting me share everyone!

Come back tomorrow for another sneak peek of the next Paper Pretties release!

Cardstock: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Shimmery White, Stamps: Love & Luck, Inks: Soft Sky, Pearlescent Poppy, Accessories: Blue Bayou ribbon, Dimensionals, Swarovski crystals, Nestabilities, White Brads

Wild Hearts

I had some time this weekend to play with some new stamps I bought from the most recent Verve Visual release, Wild Thing. This is the first time I had bought from Verve (I know, what took me so long!?) and I was so happy with my little packet of goodies, all nicely packaged!

Since they are Julee's stamps I decided to use Julee's Mojo Monday #20 sketch card. I used the now retired, Cerise paper from SU! and even sponged the edges a bit a la Jana!

Cardstock: Real Red, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Cerise, Stamps: Wild Thing, Inks: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Accessories: Red Fun Flock, Swarovski crystal, Vintage Copper Brads

The second card is in a totally different direction! Bright and lots of color! The layout is from an old Cards magazine I had laying around. That one was done with a snow theme but I thought it would look great with hearts too! For the large heart outline, I stamped it with Versamark then used Heat & Stick powder and then Dazzling Diamonds. It looks pretty and sparkly!

Cardstock: Regal Rose, Shimmery White, Cool Caribbean, Lovely Lilac, Stamps: Wild Things, Inks: Regal Rose, Lovely Lilac, Certainly Celery, Cool Caribbean, Versamark, Accessories: White EP, Dimensionals, Rose & Purple Grosgrain, Dazzling Diamonds, Heat & Stick, Slot punch

Don't forget about my Jules Jewels below - there's still time to win one of 2 great sets! Have a great day everyone!

Who Wants Stamps?

Good morning!! As I said in my last post, today is my 1 year Blogaversary! It's amazing to me that it's been a whole year already! I've made some wonderful friends through this blog, become part of 2 wonderful design teams and had a lot of fun!! To celebrate, I'm giving some Jules Jewels - yea for you!! Through the generosity of Maria and Christie I have 2 new stamp sets to give away, so I will have 2 prizes.

The first I will be drawing for is from Paper Pretties' new line of clear stamps, called Cuddle Me. I can't seem to get enough of sweet Sophia and her teddy bear! When I was growing up my teddy bear was a panda - it's quite sad looking now but I loved that bear so much! I thought Sophia needed to have a panda today. I used my new Basic Grey Two Scoops pad - the colors and patterns in this pad are so pretty (I got mine from Verve Visual).

Cardstock: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Shimmery White, Basic Grey Two Scoops, Stamps: Cuddle Me, Ink: India Ink Black, Accessories: Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Aquapainter, Soft Sky Stitched Ribbon, Bella Baubles (Tropical Algae)

The second set I will be giving away is from Kitchen Sink Stamps, Forever & Always. This is one of the 3 new Valentine's sets and it's full of great images and words that you can use for anniversaries and anything related to love! Plus this set coordinates with the KSS set, Thanks With Style so the images can be used together quite nicely for even more choices! I also used a heart from Love & Luck.
Cardstock: Shimmery White, Purely Pomegranate, dp (it was given to me so I'm not sure who makes it), Stamps: Forever & Always, Love & Luck, Inks: Purely Pomegranate, Pixie Pink Dewdrop, Regal Rose, Accessories: Purely Pomegranate Stitched Ribbon, Shimmer Brad (Making Memories), Dimensionals, White Organdy Ribbon (retired SU!)
So please leave me a comment in order to be in the drawing - let's see . . . tell me what occasion is your favorite to make cards for! Do you like making all occasion cards, birthday cards, cute card, etc. I will draw 2 names on Wednesday morning, so tell your friends and keep those comments coming! Have a great weekend!!

New Stamps in the Kitchen!

I'm back with a promised card from my new Kitchen Sink Stamps set called Love & Lucky! This set is so cute! Similar to Playful Christmas (remember all the tree cards I did?) only with a Valentine's & St. Patty's Day theme. Is there anyone else out there that almost has a hard time breaking out their new stamps?? These clear stamps are so pretty and shiney when they are new, and the KSS stamps look so nice with the color printed acetate layer that I find myself just wanting to look at them for a while! LOL!

For any SU! demos out there, I was totally inspired by the cover of this month's Stampin' Success that arrived today . . . the scalloped card(?) on the cover gave me the idea for this card.
This card also qualifies for Colleen's Throwdown Thursday - Bling Baby! I seem to use it a lot I know, but this time Colleen made me do it! :) It's just one single, solitary crystal though . . .just a touch!

When I stamped the center image I used a technique that I've done a few times over the last week, shadow stamping (I'm not sure what the technical term is). I stamped the image first with Dew Drops Pixie Pink color and then stamped the image again with Close to Cocoa ink, just a little to the side to create a shadow effect. I have to say this is another card that does look better IRL - the colors are pretty and the shimmer cardstock gives it a nice look.

Saturday will be my one year Blogaversary! I can't believe it's been one year since I decided to start a blog just to keep in better touch with friends and customers. It has evolved over this year and so has my stamping! To celebrate, I will be back on Saturday with some Jules Jewels. Until then, have a great night! :)

Cardstock: Close to Cocoa, Shimmery White, Pink Bazzill (not sure of the color), Stamps: Love & Lucky (Kitchen Sink Stamps), Inks: Close to Cocoa, Pixie Pink Dewdrop, Accessories: Nestabilities, Paper Piercer, Swarovski crystal, white gel pen

My SC159 Card

ETA: Paper Pretties is putting lots of items on sale in preparation for CHA and all the new goodies that will be arriving!! Head over and check out the Sale category - there are things being added every day!

Good morning! I got my new stamps from Kitchen Sink Stamps yesterday and I LOVE them!! I hope to have a card for you later today. For now, head over to the Kitchen Sink Store and check them out - they are available for pre-order right now. Also, check out the beautiful cards Maria made with the 3 Step Hearts & Roses set - stunning!!

I wanted to share this card I whipped up yesterday for the SCS sketch challenge (well as close as I can come to "whipping" something up anyway! lol!) The sketch was perfect for sweet Cuddle Me Sophia, one of the new clear stamps from Paper Pretties!

I recently received my oval Nestabilities so I decided to use an oval instead of a rectangle on the sketch. The dp (sent to me by Christie) is from Bo Bunny called Jack Frost and it has a beautiful pearlescent, sparkly sheen to it - soooo pretty! I used some Pearlized White cardstock I purchased from Verve Visual. I paper pieced her dress with the Bo Bunny paper and colored her with a combination of Copics and Prismacolor pencils (since I didn't have all the colors I needed of either one). Her bow was colored and then a layer of Carrara White Marble glitter (from the Martha Stewart collection at Michaels) was added so that it matches the paper nicely. To finish off the card I added 3 Swarovski crystals (I think the color is aquamarine). I hope you aren't getting tired of seeing crystals !! I just love using them and they add such a nice touch to the finished project!

Don't forget about Paper Pretties contest! You can win all the sets from the next release! Check out all the details in the Paper Clip and come back tomorrow for some Jules Jewels for your chance to win some stamps!

I'm off to start the day! We're playing catch up today since the children were at Grammy's yesterday . . . lots of school to do! Until later . . thanks for visiting!! :)

More Snowflakes

Sorry I didn't get back to post this earlier . . . . This is the other red snowflake card I made with Paper Pretties new set Snowflake Kisses and Jen del Muro's sketch for SFYTT (turned on it's side for this card!). I had this pretty Bo Bunny paper with the red shimmery snowflakes so I used that as my inspiration.

I stamped the mittens on shimmery white cardstock and colored them with my Prismacolor pencils. The cuffs have Liquid Applique added to them for dimension and the smal snowflakes on them have Liquid Pearls. For the large snowflake, I stamped it and carefully cut it out, added some beautiful German Glass Glitter I got from Say It With Letters (go check out her amazing array of MDF letters and shapes too!! They have so many things to choose, great prices and they're just over the border in New Hampshire! Hi Deb!!), added some Swarovski (of course!!) crystals and adhered it to my layer. IRL this card is so sparkly! Thanks for coming back!!

Cardstock: Basic Black, Shimmery White, Bo Bunny DP, Stamps: Snowflake Kisses Ink: India Ink Black Accessories: Liquid Applique, Liquid Pearls, German Glass Glitter, Glue Pen, Swarovski Crystals, Prismacolor pencils

Red Snowflakes & the Return of Prettie Wednesday!

Good morning all! I am excited to share this card with you today! When I started making my samples with Paper Pretties new Snowflake Kisses set I felt like I was always using blue . . . I guess snowflake and winter just make me think blue. So when I sat down to make a card with the large snowflake I wanted something different! I found this great Memory Box paper that has a tiny design on it resembling snowflakes and that was all I needed!

I love this card!! (can I say that?!) First of all, the cardstock is Shimmery White from SU! I cut out a circle with my Nestabilities and then cut out a scalloped frame from the Memory Box paper (I used the remaining circle of dp on the inside of the card - see below). I also cut out an acetate circle and stamped my snowflake on it with White Stazon. Then I used my glue pen and added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the back side of the snowflake for some real sparkle and shine! Add the ribbon and the sentiment stamped in Brilliance Pearlescent Poppy - done! Here's a shot of the inside of the card, I added a layer of the dp to the inside to cover where the acetate is glued on.

Oh and the final touch? This ginormous Swarovski crystal that Christie sent me. Pretty huh? At first I thought it might be too big . . . but no way! I love it! :)

I have another red snowflake themed card that I'll come back and share later.

So the Prettie Girls have started our Wednesday challenges again and we're inviting you to play along! Every Wednesday one of us will issue a challenge, we have a week to complete the project and mail it to another Prettie Girl and then post it the following Wednesday (so this week's challenge cards will be posted 1/30) - which means you will have 2 weeks to play along! Today's challenge is given by Christie and is a color challenge - light yellow (ex: Barely Banana), light blue and apricot. Let me know if you take the challenge by linking your creation here!

Have a great day everyone!

A SFYTT Card & a RAK

For those of you who don't blurf around that much, that's a Sketch For You To Try and a Random Act of Kindness. All the acronyms can be quite confusing at times! LOL!

So, I had some time yesterday and decided to play along with Jen del Muro's Sketch For You To Try! It's a great sketch and I actually made 2 cards with it, but I'll just show you one today and the other tomorrow.

I love this Kitchen Sink Stamps 3 Step Daisy set! It is so versatile! I recently got some Colorbox cat's eye pads that had this color combination and even though it looks a bit fallish I think it makes a pretty card for any occasion. I chose to make this a sympathy card by using words from the Never a Loss 4 Words set also from KSS. And isn't that ribbon so pretty? I received a yummy box of truffles from Maria over Christmas and the package was wrapped with that ribbon . . I saved it for just such an occasion and I love it on this card! Be sure to check out the KSS website on Wednesday, the 16th to view and pre-order the new sets available - they are so fabulous!!

Now to the RAK. I received this adorable MFT card from Jen del Muro a couple weeks ago and just found it on my messy desk . . . sorry I forgot to post it earlier but I love those cute penguins and all the sparkles on the card! Thanks so much Jen!

I also need to apologize to Monika Davis over at M.A.D. Stamper because I remembered that I got a gorgeous RAK from her over the holidays. I have searched high and low but have not found it yet to take a picture (since I moved my craft room recently I still have piles of things in both places which desperately need to be organized!). So sorry Monika!! I did appreciate the beautiful card so much and will post it as soon as I come across it!

Meet Sophia

Here is another one of the adorable new stamps that Paper Pretties introducted Friday night to the world. Isn't Sophia just the cutest thing!! This set is called Cuddle Me and includes Sophia and the sentiment "Need a cuddle?" I've had so much fun coloring her and paper piecing her and on this card, flocking the teddy bear - so cute!!

The paper is from Paper Salon from the Karen Neuberger collection and had been included in the MFT Paper Pretties Minis on a Mission Think Pink box back in October. I love how pink and girly it! I cut the panel with Sophia and the back layer with my Nestabilities (LOVE those)! When I was finishing up the card I remembered this Doodlebug Paper Frills pack that I won in some blog candy a while back (I'm sorry I don't even remember who it was from!). It was perfect for this - and then of course I had to add some crystals to the centers, I am addicted to those crystals!! :)

So who wants to wants to be the first Cutie Pie?? Paper Pretties has announced their first contest using Paper Pretties Stamps and you can win all the sets coming in the next release - you will LOVE them! Head over to their new website and check out the PaperClip for all the details! I can't wait to see the submissions!

Stay tuned this week for some Jules Jewels! Maybe, just maybe you could use it to enter the contest! ;)

Have a great day everyone!

New Stamps Anyone??

Hello everyone! Does it seem like all I do is apologize for being absent lately?? I promise it's all for a good cause and I'll be able to share soon! But today . . . I did get some time to stamp so I wanted to share.

Maria from Kitchen Sink Stamps has some amazingly great stamps to be released soon - if you liked the Christmas sets I used (and who wouldn't??!!), you will LOVE these! I cannot wait to get my hands on them . . . but until then I decided to try some Valentine's Day cards with the sets that I have. I used Never a Loss 4 Words, Playful Alphabet and Backgrounds & Borders to make these 2 cards. I'm not too proud to say that these 2 cards (among other things like laundry) took me ALL day!), it really must be true that stamping must be done often to do well! LOL! The first card may look strangely familiar in layout . . . I did a very similar card at Christmas time seen here. I also got to use those very cool square crystals (on the "u") again - so neat! And I used a bunch of some beautiful Swarovski crystals I got from Christie

Anyway, stay tuned to the Kitchen Sink Stamps website for the 3 new sets being released one week from today!

Cardstock: Rose Red, Chocolate Chip, WW, Regal Rose, Real Red, Memory Box DP (Holiday Brights Collection) Stamps: Never a Loss 4 Words, Playful Alphabet, Backgrounds & Borders, Inks: Rose Red, Regal Rose, Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Accessories: Rose grosgrain, Red Grosgrain, dimensionals, Swarovski crystals, square crystals, paper piercer

Today's Sketch Challenge

Good morning all! It's been quite a while since I played along with the daily challenges on SCS and one of my "resolutions" is to try to do them more frequently this year! It's always a good exercise! Today's Sketch Challenge was a perfect match for my Snowbunnybella from the Paper Pretties December card package. I simply LOVE this beautiful paper from the kit and add-ons, it's from the Heidi Grace Frost Boulevard collection. The simply colored my image with ink pads and an aquapainter and added some Dazzling Diamonds to her cuffs and boots. The snowflake is also part of the December kit, it's a ghost snowflake that I pressed into my Platinum Planet Brilliance Dew Drop and then embossed with Iridescent Ice EP - it's sparkly and pretty IRL. I added a glitter brad to the center and adhered it with a pop dot for some extra dimension. Give the challenges a try if you don't already, they are a great way to improve your stamping!

Cardstock: Soft Sky Textured, Sage Shadow, Heidi Grace Frost Boulevard, WW, Stamps: Snowbunnybella, Warm Hugs (Stamping Bella), Inks: India Ink Black, Accessories: Nestabilities, Dazzling Diamonds, 2 Way Glue, Ghost Snowflake, Shimmer Brads, Dimensionals

BTW, if you haven't already go check out the new website at Paper Pretties! Now having said that, please know that we are aware there are lots of kinks to be worked out . . please, please, PLEASE be patient with us, we are working on them! But, the site is beautiful and so much easier to navigate! I also have heard a rumor that there will soon be a BIG sale in the Corner Store, so stay tuned for lots of added excitement!

Be Mine

I'm back as promised . . with a quick card. I apologize for the poor photography, I'm not quite sure why it wouldn't pick up the hearts better, they do look better IRL.

I made this card using the new MFT set Be Mine which is in the December Paper Pretties card package - although not released by MFT yet. It's such a cute set and I love these conversation hearts! I'm sorry I don't remember who the dp is from, but the cardstock is Regal Rose, Rose Red and Chocolate Chip. I used one of the sentiments from the set with Palette ink Burnt Umber to stamp on the 5/8" Regal Rose grosgrain. I covered the hearts with a layer of Crystal Effects to make them nice and shiny!

Again, Happy 2008 everyone! :)

Happy 2008!

I just wanted to pop in quickly and say Happy New Year!! I'm sorry that I haven't posted anything new in a while . . . I've been working on lots of projects but not much I can share right now so stay tuned!! I'm hoping to be back later today with a card

I also wanted to take a minute to thank you all for visiting my blog! I started this blog last year on a whim and I had NO IDEA what a wonderful journey it would take me on!
